Danny Beckett Jr.

Danny Beckett Jr. is the Founder and Managing Partner of Beckett Industries, an operator-led alternative investment firm built to invest across venture, real estate, private equity, and private credit.

Danny brings more than 20 years of operating, investing, and capital formation experience across startups, consumer brands, real estate, and lower-middle-market businesses. He has founded seven companies, including four venture-backed businesses, led three exits, helped drive ventures that have generated more than $500 million in revenue, and raised more than $100 million in capital across funds, SPVs, direct investments, and operating companies.

His path into investing began as an operator. Danny grew up around family-owned businesses, started working at 13, raced professional motocross at 16, and launched his first company at 19. That early foundation shaped his approach to leadership, risk, discipline, and execution. Over his career, he has worked across both California and the Midwest, building companies backed by leading institutional investors including Sequoia, Founders Fund, Obvious Ventures, BAM Ventures, SOMA Capital, and others.

At Beckett Industries, Danny leads the firm with the conviction that the best alternative investment platforms are built by operators who understand how companies, assets, and management teams actually scale. The firm partners with founders, operators, property owners, and capital partners to build enduring companies, revitalize assets and communities, and create long-term value across its investment platforms.

Danny co-leads Beckett Industries’ venture and real estate platforms and works closely across capital strategy, underwriting, portfolio construction, investor relationships, and value creation. He also serves on the boards of multiple portfolio companies and mission-aligned nonprofit organizations.

His leadership philosophy is rooted in ownership, alignment, discipline, and long-term stewardship. Beckett Industries was built with a simple belief: capital is most powerful when paired with operating experience, institutional process, and a deep commitment to building things that last.
