Tom Stocks serves as Senior Advisor to Beckett Industries, supporting the firm across capital strategy, M&A, transaction execution, and lower-middle-market growth initiatives.

Tom brings more than 30 years of experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and business growth. A Wabash College graduate with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Tom helped launch Trivest, one of the oldest private equity firms in the United States. Over the course of his career, he has supported more than $500 million in closed transactions across the lower middle market.

At Beckett Industries, Tom works closely with the firm’s leadership and investment teams to support deal strategy, capital formation, acquisition planning, transaction structuring, and portfolio company growth. His experience across private equity, M&A, and founder-led businesses gives him a practical understanding of how to evaluate opportunities, structure transactions, and help companies scale with discipline.

Tom plays an important advisory role across Beckett Industries’ investment platforms, bringing seasoned judgment, transaction experience, and institutional perspective to the firm’s work with investors, founders, operators, and portfolio companies.
